In 2010, Drs. Roger Rowles, Kevin Harrington and Anna Dufault combined their individual practices to form Generations OB/GYN.
In the fall of 2010, they successfully recruited Dr. Leslie McLemore, Chief Resident at the University of Washington, to join the practice. In 2012, Dr Leslie McLemore became a partner in the practice.
This is a natural evolution of practices that share the same philosophy of attentive and compassionate care, and a dedication to providing comprehensive, high quality medical and surgical services to women of all generations in the Yakima Valley.
We believe that there are many advantages to this association. Most importantly, it will improve our ability to continue serving you in a timely and courteous fashion.
Generations OB/GYN History
Generations OB/GYN is the association of two long-standing, well-respected obstetric and gynecologic practices in Yakima. Dr. Roger Rowles opened his practice as a solo physician in Yakima in 1979. In 1984, Dr. Kevin Harrington finished his medical training at UCLA and joined the practice of his father, the late Dr. John Harrington, one of the founding fathers of OB/GYN in Yakima. Drs.Rowles and Harrington soon realized that they shared similar philosophies about the practice of medicine, focusing on attentive, compassionate and skillful care. Throughout the subsequent 25 years, they continued to work closely together, sharing many patients, sharing call responsibilities, and sharing an ongoing commitment to improving the quality of obstetric and gynecologic care in the Yakima Valley. The result was a very deep, strong and trusting professional relationship.
In 2006, Dr. Anna Dufault finished her training at the University of Arizona and joined the practice of Dr. Rowles, bringing a similar philosophy of patient care, innovative ideas, and new surgical skills.
In 2010, Drs. Rowles, Harrington and Dufault realized their goal of forming one large practice, with the mission of providing the best and most comprehensive health care to women in the Yakima Valley in all stages of their lives, from adolescence to senior maturity.
In the fall of 2010, they successfully recruited Dr. Leslie McLemore, Chief Resident at the University of Washington, to join the practice. In 2012, Dr Leslie McLemore became a partner.
In addition to a mission of upholding and improving the high standards of care that women in the valley expect and deserve, Generations OB/GYN is committed to educating and training new physicians. The physicians of Generations OB/GYN are members of the clinical faculty at the University of Washington.
We look forward to being your care provider for generations to come.
